These Days

This is a new cat in my life. Her name is Glora. I already like her a lot. She lives at my sister's house with three other cats. She is the loudest.

On Saturday, Boyfriend and I hosted a birthday night for him and Tyson Shwaluk. This cake was made by a very special girl .

She really captured the essence of the two boys.
One of the birthday boys! (Tyson Shwaluk)
Lighting the candles!
Lucky piece!
The day after the party, on the way to the vehicle, boyfriend and I found this cat. Originally it was under a wheelchair, and the rider and pusher were trying to avoid squishing it. After they left, we played with it. Boyfriend let the cat crawl under him. Unfortunately, when we wanted to drive away, the cat wanted to go under the vehicle. I distracted it, and jumped in very fast. What a treat!
Last night I felt sickly, so I made some soup for supper. I ate it in bed!
I also had some tea. I've been drinking "white" tea.
When I was feeling sick, I saw a rainbow and it helped.
This morning, at work, a guy came in who worked here 5 years ago, when I first started. He was kinda scary. He had a wad of $20 000 in his hand, and he said I could hold. it. When he walked, he sounded like Santa Claus... but I don't know why.

Ghosts!

Wednesday was boyfriend's birthday! I am pretty sure he had a good day.I got him a cake! It was large and we had a lot of trouble fitting it into the freezer.

Thursday night I went to a spooky place.

Then, boyfriend, some special girls and Tyson Shwaluk took me to a ghost walk. What happens is, you walk around and meet ghosts. The ghosts seemed like they were still living.
We took the 10:15 tour!

It was the scariest one!

This house talked to us. It was hard to understand. Kind of a muffled recording. I think it wants to be restored.. because it was asking for donations. This is a campsite after some Northwest company and the Hudson's Bay company fellows had a brawl. You can't tell, but there is a sleeping drunkard in a grey blanket.

Overall, I had a good time. It was worth the dollar.

Gimli

The other day, my sister and I played with a chemical at work. We poured it behind the store. It started foaming and I was pretty sure we had created a monster. This picture was taken several minutes later when it had calmed down. While we were behind the store, concerned for the planet's wellbeing, a customer was impatiently calling to us.
She said she'd been waiting in the store for a very long time. It was strange, because we'd only been back there less than two minutes in total. She told me that she wasn't concerned that nobody had been there to help her, but that someone could have stolen our product. She said that someone could have walked in and out five times with our stock in the time we were gone. She said this very rudely. She had a Krevco bottle. This is an artist's rendition of her. (We are tossing a ball)This weekend, my family, and boyfriend and I went to Gimli! My sister pretended to climb some rocks.
Walking on the pier.
a lot of kids on the pier. There was some art on the pier.
I like the cat in this picture.
This man wouldn't respond when I asked him where the washroom was.

We went to a cottage that my aunt was renting, and this kid kept trying to ride the lawn-donkey.

Fun weekend. I also spent the weekend packing and moving to the new apartment! I slept there last night and it was nice. I'm excited to get things unpacked and get living properly again!

Lately

This is Boyfriend's cat. She is shy.
I went to the Harry Potter party in the park! The trees were lit up.

Even the best wizard has to lick his hand.Boyfriend found this owl while I was in line for the new book! Last weekend, I went to the zoo... twice. The Eurasian Red Squirrel is one of our favourites. Much cuter than our squirrels. We were hoping to see some Takin-Barrel action. He knew we were watching. My favourite part of the zoo was when I stood up on a bench and yelled, "Do you like me when I'm taller?" and Quentin made a loud sound that we'd never heard before. It sounded like a no. He's cute. This cheetah wasn't impressed. The #1 best thing we saw at the zoo was this wagonload of tortoises. They kept trying to slowly pull themselves up the sides and the girl kept poking them back into the wagon.

This coming weekend I am going to my cousin's wedding, moving, and going to Gimli too!
