Summertime

Summer is going by very fast! I keep not-blogging! I think i'm going to try to have a really fun weekend so I can do a super blog. Wait for it.

my special girl

Blondie was killed yesterday by a raccoon. I feel like it was my fault for blogging about her. I loved her very much and will miss her.

I guess I'm totally living in the past with these pictures, but I think it's important stuff.

This bison was either stuck to, or eating this tree branch. I didn't notice when I took the picture.

This is a terrible picture of Sharky the catfish. He likes it when I sit on the rock and watch him. The more exciting part that you cannot see, was the kid sitting beside me watching me watch sharky.

These raccoons had a big crowd around them, and a lady was trying to touch them. A girl I know who works at the zoo told her not to touch them because they can bite, and that they carry diseases. When she walked away, the woman said "At least they are nicer than you! As if these raccoons carry diseases." Then she proceeded to go back to trying to touch them. I hope she gets a disease.

This guy was an inch away from me and he seemed not to mind that. I tried to get a clear shot of him, but a kid came and jumped in front. I continued on to other animals.

Quinton is one of the main reasons I go to the zoo. He is most likely the cutest animal they have ever had. I wish he was closer to the gates, so I could see him more often.

That day I visited my rabbits. This cute girl is over 8 years old. Very special rabbit. She will eat anything. My sister found her near Pan Am Pool. When we got her, I was afraid of her because her eyes seemed to glow red all the time. Over the years, I have grown very attached to her. If I could keep a rabbit at my apartment, I would choose her.

This girl is a little younger (6). Her name is Blondie. Spanky and Jack made her in a puddle the day before Spanky was killed by an owl. Thats what makes her special. Jack was killed last year by a raccoon, and Blondie's best friend Tootie died in the same week. She's been through a lot. She still seems pretty happy, and she likes to eat anything green.

Last Saturday was my mom's birthday and Sunday was my second eldest sister's birthday. The sister in the picture got her a great dog poster. I didn't get her anything.

The mommy deer came by the party. She has a very shiny coat this year. There are two babies of hers hidden close by!
On Tuesday I was feeling a lot of stress. Then I saw a rainbow. I got happy.

Blogged out?

Last week I was feeling un-bloggy.. so I made zero entries. It's ok, because it's summertime, and people should be outside enjoying the warm weather before it's suddenly winter again. I took some pictures of the last few weekends, and when I remember to bring the camera to work, I will put some up. I did a lot of fun stuff in the past few weeks, and the least I can do is share it with cyberspace.
