Poetry

Right now there is a big hole in my livingroom floor. It has been this way for many weeks. A man is supposed to be coming to work on it today... I can't wait.
I went to my parent's house to find my skates, and I saw this owl. The owl was sleepy.
This is a cat I know. She likes to drink from a glass.
Have you ever taken pictures while driving? Don't.. for 2 reasons. #1. They turn out ugly. #2. Danger.
As far as I know, I will be eating this dish tonight.

News Flash... a rash

These last few weeks have been interesting. It all started with a random piece of food... I don't know what it was, but it got stuck in my wisdom tooth area, and caused an INFECTION. Just after Christmas I was feeling very ill, but wasn't sure why. At this time, something was happening in my mouth and it needed to be attended to, so I went to the dentist. I like my dentist. He likes my dad a lot. He gave me these:After two days or so, I could close my mouth properly again, and no more drool! I tend to follow directions very carefully (and with these types of medications they tell you to finish the bottle), so I continued taking the pills every six hours exactly. (Exactly means that I woke myself up at 5:30 every morning to take a pill... I love following directions!)

On the 8th day, I woke up with spots on my face. Unfortunately I wasn't alarmed because this can happen from time to time on my face...

Later on in the day I concluded that the strawberries I ate the day before caused the issue, as I am sporadically allergic to them.

I continued to take the pills.

That evening, when I went to a movie with Boyfriend, two other boys and Tyson Shwaluk, I saw myself in the mirror after the movie and got scared. My face was getting really red and bumpy.

I had never had a reaction like this from strawberries before and the thought crossed my mind about the pills, but i'm an idiot.

I continued to take the pills.

When I woke up the next morning I looked like this:

This one is with calamine lotion... it was ITCHY!! So, needless to say, I was scared, and very itchy. I was spotted from my face to the bottom of my feet... at this point I stopped taking the pills. It has taken about 5 days to get back to my non-itchy rashy self, and I am very glad.

The lesson I learned is that an allergic reaction can happen even if you've been taking a certain pill for a week already. I hope you learned something too.

Also, my sister had a birthday, and my other sister put a bag on her head at the party. It was fun.

Mousey

Today I wanted to talk about something very dear to Lester. Mousey is lester's very best friend. 98.4% of my time is spent searching for Mousey under the couch, behind doorways and anywhere else he ends up. So far I have patched up Mousey on one occasion, but I have a feeling he will have several operations in the near future. Sometimes Mousey is missing for weeks, and suddenly he comes back into our lives. Lester carries Mousey with him everywhere. This is love.

A month, huh?

Wowee! It has been a while since I hung out in Bloggsville. A lot of stuff happens at this time of year, but there is no excuse. Maybe nothing exciting has happened! Let us fill the void with pictures of Lester.
This is Lester on the couch. He likes to run and jump off of it in order to leave as many marks as possible. I find it hard to get/stay mad at him.
This is Lester playing "hang off the side of the couch". It is cute as well as harmless for all involved.
This is Lester playing in the sink. Every morning (and sometimes night) he hangs out in the sink and around it while I get ready for my day. A lot of playtime occurs in this room. The bathtub is the most common place to find Lester when he wants to play.
One night there was an ambulance outside the apartment at 1AM. I tried to snoop, but I couldn't tell who it was. Boring.

Our new pal.

Yesterday was a very special day. It started out with a pretty scene on Furby St.
It ended with a new friend. This is Lester!
